Overview

The Cloud portal allows you to have instant access to a Business Central standard code base ranging from versions 14 upwards with multiple locales. The code base maintained on here will always be the most recent cumulative update and new releases are released very shortly after they're generally made available.

It lets you create a project for development on a specific version and give your LLM AI coding agents access to the precise Business Central codebase you're working on at the time.

It also allows upgrade projects, which will allow you to define a source version that you are upgrading from and a target version that you are upgrading to. This will help your LLM agents understand what code you have available in your IDE at the time, including your custom modules. It will also show the actual code differences between the two versions to help you see what needs adapting, what has been changed or deprecated, and any new event publishes that may be better suited to what you're working on.

The Cloud Portal for Code Security does not allow you to add custom code or Dynamics Nav C/AL, however the on-premise version is provided inclusive for all subscribed members for one server/instance per organisation. The on-premise version allows you to add all of your custom code and have it maintained and stored securely on your own servers.
