Credential Management

The credentials area is for you to add your GitHub access token and/or Azure DevOps PAT, to allow Veyo access to the repositories you want to ingest code from. These are saved so that you can easily refresh your repo code when new commits take place, ensuring Veyo is always up to date with your latest codebase.

Adding a new credential​

  1. Select Credentials from the left navigation menu.
  2. Select Add Credential.
  3. Select the Credential Type (GitHub / DevOps).
  4. Give the credential a friendly name so you can recognise it when associating it with new repos.
  5. Enter the Token/Key.
  6. Press Test — the system will show you the account name of the account you have authenticated with, or a failure message if the key is invalid.
  7. Once the test has succeeded, press Save.

Manage Existing Credentials​

Select Credentials from the left navigation menu.

You will see a list of all credentials stored in your instance.
